This is fine research and back-up work supporting the assertion that we humans are indeed the creation/servants of an "alien" race.Author Macrino reviews ancient texts and "mythology" of Nordic, Asian, Indian, American Indian, Roman, Greek, Egyptian and Irish cultures to reveal striking, almost word for word similarities describing their "gods." These accounts are compared to the cuneiform tablet translations found in ancient Sumer. Macrino also compares the Sumerian description of "God" or "gods" and angels to the stories in the Old and New Testament of the bible.
To take the case further, he examines stories from the 1800's in the U.S. He shows how the information, told unedited at first by locals, became edited and down-played by officialdom. Such is the case today.
If you have read the work of Zecharia Sitchin or Michael Tellinger and are left wondering about humanity's true origins, I highly recommend this book.
Though Macrino doesn't say so, it is not a stretch of thought to understand that the ruling families (the 1%) of today are descended from these ancient "aliens." It's where our "royal families" come from.
It's why our societies are set up so we must "work for a living" on an earth that provides abundantly for all. We work to enrich someone else and get "paid" a pittance in comparison. Consider that 1% of the world's population controls about 90% of the world's wealth. Now you know why.
It's a matter of grasping our true history. Not blaming or accusing, but not mindlessly acquiescing, either. Do we still want overlords and bosses? Well, we got 'em! Do we desire to grow up and share the world's resources as one people? If so we'll wake up to our slave status. When we do we can choose to behave as responsible beings who can manage ourselves. It's a big leap. Perhaps it'll take another 100,000 years to make it.

The Book was fantastic! Having had a longtime interest in the subject, the author wrote it in a way that tied it all together for me in a clear easy and fun to read way. I highly recommend the book to anyone that wants knowlege on the Ancient ones that made us what we are today
For anyone who was interest in ancient astronaut theories, this work is a must read! A compelling case indeed; we are not alone, perhaps never been...
One of the things i liked about the book was how the author sorted out the historical texts in chronological order; from the oldest to the most recent text.
Mr. Macrino's work deals with challenging ideas in refreshingly intelligent manner. This is the main reason I bought the book in the first place – it sounded neither as mock course requirement of college freshman nor mental hygiene of conspiracy buff. Each thesis is backed by multiple proofs, styled as if presenting the case in court, according to his own words. Courtly manner of presenting the case gives its content weight it might lack otherwise but also turns into a burden and drag half way through the book. Though I understand why all the repetition, keeping full attention and keen interest becomes seriously challenging at certain point. Nevertheless, it is the work well worth reading, certainly among better in the field. Free sample (“Look inside” option) is informative enough to correctly intuit the tone and direction of entire work so if you cannot stomach initial content, better pass it on and pick something light-weight and playful instead. Depending on your stance towards believability of presented facts, this work might either permanently change your understanding of religions and belief systems (all and any), spoil the romanticized notions of humanity as such and our past or strengthen you in belief it’s all just a load of nonsense. Whatever one chooses to believe at the end of the day is matter of personal choice but I believe one should be informed before making that personal choice. I would definitely recommend the book and encourage you to simply endure repetitive parts. End result is well worth the effort.
